THE DARK STRANGER - Poem

Hello?
Do you hear me knocking?
I'm right here,
waiting for you,
to open the door.
I know you're in there
your heavy breaths give me indication that,
you are.
Open your heart,
to a stranger like me.
A person who want to,
be in your life.
To change it.
To destroy it.

BROKEN DREAMS - Poem

Fly free,
for the world to see.
Get shot down,
and lay in a bloody mess
of broken dreams.

HYPOCRITES 2 - Poem

Sadly we've been stuck in our failures
unable to move forward,
to forgive and forget.
Our dreams
are slowly slipping through our tight grasp
like sand.
Why must we stay in the same place
instead of pushing forward?
Such a hypocrite am I
saying to push forward,
when I,
myself,
am moving backwards.

HYPOCRITES - Poem

We loom in the darkness,
settling on what we are,
because we're too scared to find out,
who we really are.
It seems we can forgive the child,
who is full of light,
to be afraid of the dark.
Yet, the man who lingers in the dark,
we shun,
because he acts differently.
Such hypocrites we've become,
we've all been in that place of darkness,
and yet we laugh at others,
who continue to go down that dark path,
with out helping.

CORRUPTION OF INNOCENCE - Poem

Heart ice cold.
why must you push me,
away.
When I so desperately,
wish,
to be by your side?
Silly child, do you understand
that the world,
is already so serious?
Where are the bright smiles?
Is the world already corrupted
that innocence of birth
is stained forever?
Where are the children,
are they hidden under
the cracked stone faces,
the sad grubby face,
or have we lost them?
Forever.
